Three songs featured in the 2013 film The Falls: Testament of Love. His Light Will Save Me was written for the film, to function both as a Mormon hymn (in its acappella form) and as a love song between the two main characters. With My Heart Held Up High is a song I wrote back in 2005 which director Jon Garcia felt was suitable for use in the film. You can find out more about The Falls: Testament of Love at

Track Name: With My Heart Held Up High
I can withstand all tragedy
And sin inflicted upon me
And sickness without remedy
With my heart held up high

I live a life of servitude
No dreams have I chance to pursue
Only life and live I do
With my heart held up high

The fortunate will weep and wail
When faced with some tiny travail
Where paltry pain sees these fools fail
My heart held up high prevails

Forbearance is the towering word
The flower of all I have suffered
And where it blossoms there I've heard
A heart is held up high
